THE TERM 'Ergonomics' is derived from two Greek words: 'ergon' meaning work and 'nomos' meaning laws. Ergonomics covers all aspects of a task, from physical stresses it places on the joints, muscles, nerves, tendons, and bones to the environmental and psychological factors which can affect general comfort and health.
